The Marvels
The Marvels are Europe's newest high energy entertainment band made up of the cream of Ireland's session musicians and entertainers. They have dedicated themselves whole heartedly to mastering the art of performace for any function be it a red carpet celebrity bash, classy wedding, corporate event or summer festival The Marvels is the band everybody is talking about.
This supergroup came about when the guys, having previously played together in other bands, decided it was time to combine the incredible energy between them to form this highly positive group. This is not your typical function band. You will not see this show anywhere else. If you are looking for something different, something special, something with a new and exciting vibe, these guys are it. Word has spread, The Marvels are born..
Shane Butler is “1 by 1”
Shane’s Unique vocal style has been compared to Bryan Adams and he is one of Ireland’s finest guitar players. “1 by 1” is available for bookings on Friday and Saturday nights in the Dublin area with a guarantee that your audience will be blown away. Filling his regular slot in Fitzsimmons Hotel in Temple Bar every Thursday and Sunday for the last 3 years Shane often attracts crowds well into the hundreds. A fresh and up to date set list means your venue will rock all night long.

Event Dimension's proudly presents one of Ireland 's top party bands – The Blues Brothers Showband. This action packed ninety-minutes tribute show features hits of the 60's 70's and 80's. This is a live nine-piece party band fronted by Jake & Elwood Blues. This tribute show includes cover versions of musical numbers made famous by The Blues Brothers, Elvis, Tom Jones, The Commitments, Frank Sinatra, Wilson Picket, Tina Turner and many more. It's an action packed party show appealing to all ages and musical tastes. The cop lights flash, the sirens start and we find the Blues Brothers Band on stage. After an up tempo rendition of The Peter Gunn Theme, we welcome Jake & Elwood Blues on stage who burst into a Motown medley, which gets everyone dancing. Then our Bluesette performs a Supremes Medley, ladies choice. The party has officially started as the Brothers perform a series of well known hits including; “It's Not Unusual”, “Mama Told Me Not To Come”, “Hip To Be Square” and “Soul Man”. The Blues Brothers live seven-piece band blaze through Green Onions as Jake & Elwood prepare for part two of their action packed show. They return to the stage with a frenzied second half of the show. The audience joins in as Jake & Elwood teach them “The Tail Feather” and how to “Flip Flop and Fly”. As the show reaches it's conclusion the Blues Brothers perform their tribute to Tina Turner with a clever medley including “ River Deep Mountain High” and “Proud Mary”. All this in 90 fast minutes with time still to wrap up the show with “Jailhouse Rock” and “Everybody Needs Somebody”. The party goes on and on…… |

We supply a friendly and personal service to the public. We only use professional Disc Jockeys that interact with the audience they have in front of them. That's what your guests are to us, an audience that are there to be entertained and not treated to a night out with a silent DJ which is what most of our competitors supply.
Our guys make it their business to create an atmosphere; whether it's in a club, pub, maybe a 21st Birthday party or Wedding, it makes no difference, we have the people that can adapt to any situation put in front of them which a lot of other companies just cannot do.
Weddings
Weddings are a speciality of our’s because we can look after your every need from the Altar to your Hotel Reception.
Why should you put yourself under unnecessary pressure leading up to the biggest day of your life worrying about the entertainment when we can do it all for you. Maybe you require a singer for the church or you might want to be a little more lavish and have a string quartet. Whatever it is we can organise it for you.
Why have the hassles of hiring a band from one company and your DJ from another when you can have us supply you with both. We can arrange to come to your home or any other venue if that does not suit you, to have a free consultation where we can then discuss your music preferences and by this process we can then narrow down the number of bands in which we shall send you and your partner to view. As you well know each wedding is of its own identity and consists of your own personal touch, therefore you are the people best equipped to choose the band most suitable to your needs we shall merely supply a variety of choices.
What if we just want a DJ for the whole night?
If it's just the DJ you're after then we operate to the same policy as with the hiring of a band. We shall allow you to go and view a selection of our guys and again let you choose who you think might be best equipped for your wedding.
Having said that, all of our DJs can cater for your every need; including the usual Wedding traditions of, the 'Arch', the 'Tossing of the Bouquet' and of course the 'Removal of the Garter' (with the help of the Groom and not the DJ obviously!) For every function, we entice you to make a list of some of your favourite tracks and send them to us by email or by post as we feel it's a nice touch to hear just a few of these as after all it's your special day
Our First Dance!
The music to the traditional 'First Dance' is usually a song that is very special to both Bride and Groom. If you've hired a band not familiar with your 'First Dance' song, then they will learn it specially for you; provided ample time is given in advance. If you prefer, we will provide the track for you on disc. In either case we guarantee you'll have your 'First Dance' to the song special to you both.
