At Event Dimensions we have numerous themes to offer you for any event. Your venue can be transformed into any one of a multitude of themes.

Packages are available to suit any size venue. Additional
extras might include lighting, themed entertainment, bands,
lookalikes, costumed character actors, group costume rental

60's Groove
Let your hair down, and help ban the bomb at your very own
hippie party, this is set in a time when war was bad and
coke wasn't a drink.
70's Fever
Let us entertain your guests with a night of groovy happenings
and funky dealings! Watch us transform your venue into
something that would make even the most un-cool dude get
down and boogie and strut their funky stuff! Our character
actors, suitably attired, will interact with your guests
ensuring a funk filled night for all.
Austin Powers
Yah Baby Yah!! Join International man of mystery, Austin
Powers and friends for an unforgettable night of groovy
happenings and absolute mayhem. Your venue will be transformed
with our custom décor into a swinging, happening
joint. Look out, Austin's about!
Caribbean
Transport your guests to the Warm Climate of the Caribbean!
The room will be dressed in true Caribbean style with backdrops
of colourful Caribbean and Mardi Gras scenes on the surrounding
walls and on the stage. Multi coloured bunting will be draped
throughout the room creating the atmosphere of the Caribbean.
Fruit displays, fish netting and lighting will be used add
to the theme of the evening. As can be expected, our DJ will
get some of your guests to try their hand at Limbo dancing
- (this always goes down a treat!) Overall a tropical fun-filled
treat awaits your guests !
Mexican Night
Hey Gringo- Party down with your Mexican amigo’s.
Welcome to a taste of Mexico. Your venue will be themed to
create a feeling of old time Mexico. The set comprises two
themed backdrops (one for stage and one for the entrance
to the room), cut-outs of Mexicans, cowboys, Indians, wagon
wheels and much more. The most focal point of the room will
be the stage area which will be themed with a street scene
backdrop, cacti, oversized barrels and Mexican flags. From
the ceiling we will drape red, yellow and green bunting.
Two meet and greet actors in the guise of Mexicans will welcome
your guests as they arrive. Our DJ will provide Mexican themed
music as a background during dinner and then play regular
hits as the dancing begins.
Futuristic
Transform your venue into a futuristic look into the new
millennium.
The scene is set as guests walk through a darkened tunnel
complete with laser lighting and smoke. A themed entranceway
to the venue is included. This is the bridge of our futuristic
theme. Here our spaceship commander will welcome your guest.
Inside the room the stage is transformed into an oversize
control desk. From the ceiling oversized silver tubing will
interlink with moving lights and cut-outs of themed space
props. Around the walls will be two oversized backdrops enclosed
your guests in a millennium spaceship.
OSCARS
Come meet the stars and watch us create the Oscar ceremony
of the year!
Outside, the function area will be transformed into a pavement
of the stars with a Los Angelus skyline backdrop. Two character
actors, such as The Mask, Marilyn Monroe or the zany Austin
Powers, will meet and greet your guests. Inside the venue
film reels and oversized clapperboards are suspended from
the walls and ceilings, while around the room are a series
of statues of famous movies and their stars. The Décor
is completed with a themed stage including an oversized MGM
Lion backdrop. Overall a night to remember!
HORROR
Let us entertain your guests with a night of ghoulish happenings
and freaky dealings!
Watch us transform your venue into something that would make
even the most monstrous creature feel homesick! Our character
actors, suitably attired as monsters, vampires, skeletons,
devils or some fiend of your choice, will interact with your
guests ensuring a fright filled night for all.
M*A*S*H
Let us transform your venue into a MASH style booth camp.
Its time to don your camouflage uniform and mix and mingle
with your favourite characters from the hit TV programme
including Hawkeye, Hot Lips, Houlihan and Radar. The room
will be themed with camouflage nets, army tents, two themed
backdrops and various comical cut-outs of soldiers in action.
If you want to make the night truly memorable let us arrange
to transport your guests to the venue in authentic army
vehicles.
WESTERN
Howdy Partners! Come to the wild wild west and have a great
ho-down! Welcome to the OK Coral. Your venue will be transformed
into a Western Village. The set comprises two themed backdrops,
cut-outs of cowboys, Indians, wagon wheels and much more.
The most focal point of the room will be the stage area
which will be themed with a street scene backdrop, cacti,
oversized barrels.

An example is an Oscar Night: Why not treat your guests to an unforgettable night as VIP Guests, at a specially created Oscars ceremony or glitzy Hollywood Party…. Watch us transform your venue into something straight from the movies. From the star-studded boardwalk entrance, to the individually themed table decoration, your guests will enjoy the VIP treatment for the entire evening. With the addition of themed Hollywood entertainment in the form of character actors, Dj's and themed bands, your guests can enjoy a star-studded cabaret to entertain them into the small hours of the evening. Your Oscars night can include;
- Themed Oscars Stage, including a lit MGM Lion Backdrop,
- 3D Life size statues of Hollywood 's greatest stars,
- Costumed Character Actors,
- Oscars themed table centrepieces,
- Themed signage and props to hang from the ceiling,
- Black and Gold themed balloon décor,
- Themed entertainment, including bands, comedians, celebrity appearances and more.
At the focal point of the room, we will position a Hollywood themed stage. This will consist of a Starcloth backdrop for the stage with a lit MGM Lion backdrop positioned in front of it. A themed podium will be positioned at the front of the stage. On either side of the backdrop will be life sized 2D Oscars statues. Along the side walls of the room, eight life-size statues of some of Hollywood 's greatest stars will be positioned, each on individually lit, themed podiums, including Humphrey Bogart, Charlie Chaplin and Marylyn Monroe. From the ceiling, a variety of Hollywood themed signage and propage will hangs. Just inside the entrance to the venue, we will position a lit Hollywood skyline backdrop and position a themed Hollywood floor featuring the names of some of Hollywood 's greatest legends. In another area we will position a themed black backdrop which will feature three televisions sets showing footage from Oscars ceremonies throughout the years. Evening Décor We will transform the room into a venue for a glitzy Hollywood bash. Along the walls of the room we will position a series of stand alone eight foot white PVC panels featuring Oscars film reels. From the ceiling on either side of the stage, giant movie clapperboards will be hung. All existing artworks in the room will be framed and covered with additional décor pieces to complete the Oscars experience. Entertainment Character Actors – Actors are available in two roles; the first group will be representing famous Hollywood stars such as Charlie Chaplain, Marilynn Monroe, Austin Powers etc. while the second group will represent comical characters who work in the movie industry such as an over the top Movie Director, leading lady, slimy agent etc. These characters will meet and greet your guests as they arrive and create comical interactions between themselves and your guests. Given the expected numbers, we would recommend a minimum of six actors. Caricaturist – Our caricaturist will be set up in a themed area in the lobby, where he will sketch your guests portraits with a Hollywood spin on them. Magician – While your guests are mixing and mingling, our sleight of hand magician will wander the area performing various close up magic tricks. Comical Security – Once the evening portion of the evening is ready to kick off, guests will return to the ballroom entrance to find three novelty security detectors set-up. Each booth will be manned by two of our comical Hollywood security guards (who will count the actual number of guests) who will question and inspect guests as they enter. The booths are rigged by a buzzer, which is under the control of the security guards, which they use to create humorous interaction with the guests as they enter. Their last role for the evening will be to attempt to apprehend the notorious Blues Brothers, Jake and Elwood Blues who are rumoured to be in the area. After Dinner Cabaret – “A Tribute to Hollywood ” After the food has been served, guests will enjoy a 30 minute spectacular tribute to the movies. The schedule will run as follows; Dance Number – Six Dancers. “Saturday Night Fever” performed by the Hee Bee Gee Bees. Dance Number – Six Dancers. “The Full Monty- Almost” performed by Krystal Kieran's Karaoke Kickback. Spectacular finale performed by a troupe of eight drummers, climaxing with the use of confetti cannons. Blues Brothers Show band - Thirteen piece show band featuring two male vocalists, drums, two guitars, keyboards, two female backing singers, five piece brass section (two trumpets, two trombones, saxophone). Please note that the minimum stage size for the band is 24ft long by 16ft deep, with an 8ft by 4ft apron at the front. The band has specific PA requirements, which must be provided by your sound company. The band also requires the use of a dressing room. We will provide one of our top corporate DJ's to finish out the night. The DJ will require use of the installed PA. List themes:
